We’re working with a reputable construction company based in Morningside that is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to support their financial operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting, and supporting the finance function across multiple active construction projects. About the Company This privately owned construction business delivers a mix of residential and commercial projects across South East Queensland. The Role You’ll work closely with the finance, commercial, and project teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the business. Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Manage purchase orders, subcontractor claims, and supplier invoices Assist with monthly financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts Support payroll and employee expense processing Liaise with external accountants on BAS, GST, and other compliance requirements Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audit preparation Track project expenditure and support cash flow monitoring Provide admin support to the finance and management teams About You Min. 2 years' experience in finance/accounts (construction industry highly regarded) Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams Degree/diploma in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not essential Why You’ll Love It Stable, full-time opportunity in a supportive, growing business Hands-on role with variety across projects Great team culture with open communication and shared success Convenient Morningside location How to Apply: If you are ready to advance your career and contribute to the dynamic world of construction, we encourage you to apply.
